1. Foreign ordinary passport holders need to apply for Chinese visas through the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Macao (CVASC). The Consular Department of the Office of the Commissioner dose not accept visa applications directly. Applicants should log in to the website of the CVASC (https://bio.visaforchina.cn/MAC3_EN/qianzhengyewu) to fill the application form online, download and print a hard copy of the application form and sign, then submit the application form and application materials to the CVASC for processing. No appointment is required. For application materials, please refer to the website of the Commissioner's Office (http://mo.ocmfa.gov.cn/eng/lsfw/wgrzj/).

2. Applicants holding diplomatic or service (official) passports or applying for Chinese diplomatic, courtesy or service visas may submit applications directly to the Consular Department of the Commissioner's Office without an appointment. Applicants should log in to the website of the CVASC (https://bio.visaforchina.cn/MAC3_EN/qianzhengyewu) to fill the application form online, download and print a hard copy of the application form and sign, then submit the application form and diplomatic (official) note to the Consular Department of the Commissioner's Office for approval.

The Consular Department also accepts applications for consular authentication, passports and travel documents for Chinese citizens.
