In order to facilitate the exchange of personnel between China and foreign countries, the Commissioner's Office has recently implemented simplified visa application forms and walk-in visa applications in accordance with the unified arrangements of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. On this basis, the Office will further optimize the visa policy to provide more convenience for eligible foreigners in Macao to apply for mainland visas for business, tourism, family visits and other purposes. The specific arrangements are as follows:

    1. Foreign permanent residents of Macao can apply for multiple visas valid for up to 5 years.

    2. Foreign non-permanent residents of Macao can apply for multiple visas valid for up to 2 years.

    3. Foreign professional employees can apply for multiple visas valid for up to 1 year.

    4. Foreign non-professional employees and domestic helpers can apply for multiple visas valid for up to 6 months.
